| Кратка информация: | The primary operation of Phytopharm Klęka S.A [Joint-Stock Company] is the processing of herbal raw materials the manufacturing of plant medicines and herbal extracts for pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food purposes. Phytopharm Klęka SA produces: juices and extracts from fresh herbs which have been stabilized, herbal tinctures, liquids, concentrated and dried water and water-alcohol extracts, herbal syrups, oil and glycol extracts as well as injectable herbal substances. Approximately 300 various botanical substances are produced in Klęka. Thanks to applying state-of-the-art extraction, condensing and drying techniques, the Company produces the highest quality botanical substances which meet or exceed all required QA and QC standards. Phytopharm Klęka SA specializes in the production of plant extracts and injectable herbal substances obtained from fresh herb raw products. Phytopharm has its home offices in one of the oldest towns in the Wielkopolska region. The first mention of Klęka dates back to the end of the XIII century. Klęka is located on the left bank of the Warta River’s former river bed approximately 60 km southeast of Poznań. It is surrounded by a truly unique landscape in Europe, the Warta River marshlands. In Klęka, cultivation of herbs and herb processing is a tradition spanning a period of over 50 years. The concept of taking advantage of the local agricultural resources by establishing modern herb cultivation together with the pharmaceutical industry dates back to 1948. On October 10, 1949, the Plant in Klęka was officially recognized as a producer of medical substances by including it in the group of United Pharmaceutical Companies in Warsaw as "Production Plant no. 11". In January 1952, the plant took on the name of "Industrial and Agriculture Herb Company" and in 1959, the "Herbapol" trademark was added to its name. The trademark was approved by all companies subordinate to the United Herb Industry. Castor oil made from the company’s own cultivation became its first production and market success. The mid 50’s brought the launch of greenhouse cultivation of dendrite aloe and production of biostymine. Commencment of investment development, dating back to 1957, enabled the expansion of assorted production capabilities. The Company began fresh herbal juice and extract production in mid 60’s and in the 80’s, Klęka become the largest herb extracting center in Poland. In January 1993, Przemysłowo-Rolne Zakłady Zielarskie Herbapol w Klęce ["Herbapol" - Industrial and Agriculture Herb Company in Klęka] was transformed into a joint-stock company and assumed the name Zakłady Zielarskie Herbapol w Klęce Spółka Akcyjna [Herbapol Herb Joint-Stock Company in Klęka]. Herbapol Klęka SA became a part of the Martin Bauer international group in April 1994 - the world’s herb industry potentate and in 2000, Herbapol changed its name to Phytopharm Klęka Spółka Akcyjna. |
