We are part of Johnson & Johnson is a global healthcare company with 114,000 employees in 57 countries. McNeil manufactures pharmaceuticals for self-care. This means that our products can be bought without prescription at pharmacies, but it is increasingly common that they also can be purchased in such grocery stores. At the plant, we operate both production and research and development. History AB Leo was founded in 1914 in the pharmacy Bear. Since 1919, the company has been in its current premises at Stattena. The first product was Leopiller (for constipation), followed by painkillers Albyl. From 1986 onwards the company has undergone a number of mergers and ownership changes. We have particularly been called Kabi Pharmacia, Pharmacia Upjohn and Pharmacia.
